The TVlogic VFM-056WP, is an amazingly light and compact size of view finder/monitor with an HD resolution of 1280 x 800. Its light weight and convenient size provides the best solution for indoor and outdoor shooting. The innovative and ergonomic design of the VFM-056WP, makes it easy to use on shoots and the solid magnesium case offers stable use and outstanding ventilation.
The VFM-056WP has a multitude of inputs, to suit most video cameras and DSLRs, with Analogue Composite, s-Video and Component, HDMI and SDI together with an SDI loop through/out connector.
- Easy and Quick installation
The VFM-056WP has 4 screw holes (one on each side) so that it can easily and rapidly be installed in a camera system according to shooting requirements.
In addition, VFM-056WP provides a unique and light hood which blocks external light efficiently. With this hood, the VFM-056WP is convenient and useful in outdoor shooting under sun light or indoors, shooting under strong interior lighting.
- Focus Assist (=Peaking Filter)
The VFM-056WP supports Focus Assist function so the monitor displays where the focus is, to aid in obtaining the sharpest picture. Red is displayed on the screen, to indicate where sharp edges appear.
- Range Error
Selected values in Y MAX, Y MIN, C MAX, C MIN are indicated in Waveform/Vector or Y/Cb/Cr.
- Y Level Check
Y Level is displayed as colour on the screen to aid in the setting of the camera exposure.
- 1:1 Pixel Mode
Unlike other view finder monitors, the VFM-056WP offers a 1:1 Pixel Mode. All the picture elements of an input signal are displayed 1:1 according to the pixels of the LCD panel, without scaling.
- Marker
The VFM-056WP can display various markers. Centre Marker, Safety Area, Fit Marker, etc. The marker type and marker setting are selectable. Those features make VFM-056WP the perfect display for all shooting environments.
- Vector Scope* and Wave Form* Support
The VFM-056WP supports Vector Scope and Wave Form (Y/Cb/ Cr, Wide type, Line waveform and Range Error)
*Wave Form: Displays the luma (Y') level of the input signal.
*Vector Scope: Displays the colour component signals of B'-Y' and R'-Y' on the XY axis.
