Gitzo carbon fiber microphone booms continues to set the standard in terms of lightweight, rigidity and fast operation thank to the 6X tubing and the g-lock system.

In addition to these well known carbon fiber models, with the new 2009 collection Gitzo introduces a fully revised range of aluminum booms with features and materials so far available for top of the range models only.

All aluminum booms now feature our latest aluminum tube, 30% lighter than its predecessor, with Anti Leg Rotation system (ALR), 1.2mm wall thickness and brushed matt black finish for improved locking performance and minimised reflectivity.

This new tube allows for a dramatic weight reduction and, thanks to ALR, aluminum booms are now incredibly quicker, easier and more precise to operate.

Also the innovative and exclusive G-Lock system is now available on aluminum models.
