The Genus Basic Matte Box kit (GMKBAS) consists of a wide angle matte box and a GFFW french flag, but does not contain an adaptor ring, which can be purchased separately. It is designed for use on both video cameras and DSLRs, for example, the Canon EOS 5D.

French Flag
Attaches to the matte box to prevent light flare onto the camera lens
Made from high grade aluminium and finished in a non-reflective black coating
Can easily be fix onto either the Genus Standard or Wide 4x4 matte box and be adjusted to the desired angle as required with a twist of a lock knob
Flag can also be removed when not in need simply by loosening it from it’s spindle bar
French Flag is the same width as the matte box itself and it can be folded down to act as a protective lens cover when not in use
